Your question is sent to Jev, prefixed with a brief explanatory prompt to make the answers more fun. It returns a PMF over the standard Magic 8 Ball choices, which we then sample from to "roll" an answer. (We don't make use of Jev's confidence threshold at all.)
I made this for fun. I make operating systems for a living so I only barely understand how any of this web nonsense works.
Your question goes to TypeSafe for inference, via Cloudflare, which hosts this site. This site also uses Cloudflare Turnstile in invisible mode to prevent bots and abuse. Turnstile processes technical signals, including your IP address and browser information, to detect bots and improve its bot detection. See the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
